#61 - 🍕Pizzaiolos robots and a magical app to edit your photos

Hello,
This week I have a big program for you. Some of you told me that you learned little last week...we're going to fix that this week. And as usual don't forget to tell me what you thought of it at the end of reading.
On the menu :
- 📱 An app to know everything about your Spotify stats
- 🪄 How to remove an object from a photo?
- 🍕 The Pizzaiolos robots are already in Paris
- 🎧 News from my podcast
📱An app to know everything about your Spotify stats
I don't know about you, but I am personally amazed by streaming music. The fact of having access to all the music everywhere and all the time remains a little daily magic.
When you add to that the fact that digital technology brings for the first time a wealth of data on what you listen to, it's just fascinating.
Besides, once a year Spotify offers you a recap of the songs you've listened to. It's nice but far from complete and it's mostly once a year...
A few weeks ago I offered you Statiks an alternative which enriched your stats but as I found 10 times better so I am forced to share it with you.

Spotistats (iOS/Android) gives you a new level of information on what you're listening to:
- top artist
- Top song
- Choice of period (1 month/6 months/always)
- Detailed stats by song
- The genres and tempo of the music you listen to the most
It's very well done, complete and free (even if there is a paid version which is very indispensable.
🪄The magic application to remove an object from a photo
Until recently, you had to be an expert in Photoshop to retouch a photo. In recent years, however, we have seen an incredible democratization of retouching tools.
Whether it's Canva (which I told you all the good things I thought about it in this long article), from Remove.bg which allows you in a few seconds to cut out an image or the tool I am about to tell you about, no need for a pro for many graphic tasks.
Cleanup Pictures simply allows you to remove objects from a photo and the complicated thing when you delete part of a photo is to reconstruct what is behind the object.
You can see the tool. work live with the test that I carried out below As you can see the AI has reconstructed the drawing under the pencil.
No need to say more. it's just stunning and it can be devilishly useful I'll let you test it and don't hesitate to tell me how you plan to use this nugget.
I definitely don't talk enough about pizza in this newsletter even though those who know me know my love for this dish.
So you can imagine, I was on the lookout for an excuse to talk about the subject.
Fortunately a recent article from Frandroid provided me with the perfect excuse by presenting Pazzi a pizzeria located in Paris which has a incredible feature: it's a robot that prepares your pizza!
Concretely, you place an order via a terminal and it's a series of articulated arms that spread the dough, make the pizza, put it in the oven and go to cutting.
You must think that it is certainly gimmicky and not very good. Well, think again, the ingredients are organic and the recipes imagined by Thierry Graffagnino, triple world pizza champion.
In short, a curiosity to try during your next visit to Paris.
🎧 News from my podcast
You know I have been hosting “Encore Un Podcast Tech” with my friend Remi for almost a year.
Until now we were on a frequency of one episode every 15 days but we decided to make some changes.
On the menu, shorter but also more frequent episodes since we will now deal with 1 subject per episode at the rate of one episode per week.
Big change which will double our publication frequency, hoping that you like this new format.
Besides prolo, here are the subjects covered during our last episode:
- Microsoft buys Blizzard Activision
- Airtags: the new favorite gadget of car thieves
- Which apps are the most data intensive and what alternatives
