#64 - 🪐Living in Star Wars

hello,

Okay, we're not going to lie, she wasn't crazy this weekend and it's hard to have a light mind when a winner of Dancing with the Stars 🕺takes up arms to defend his country from a guy who stirs up the nuclear threat.

Anyway, count on me to take your mind off things with a program that is as useful as it is entertaining this week.

🪐Living in Star Wars is now possible for $5000

In the unpopular series opinionI have to admit, I have never been a big fan of the Star Wars universe. However, I cannot help but be attracted by Disney's proposal which is launching from today the Galactic Starcruiser, an incredible new experience at Disney World in Florida.

If I say experience and not attraction, it is because Galactic Starcruiser is a unprecedented immersion in the Star Wars universe which takes the form of a 2-day journey in a life-size role-playing game on the famous spaceship.

You are embarked on an adventure in which you are the hero with actors, a scenario and multiple choices to make. Each choice has an influence on the rest of the adventure and you realize your dream of living in the Star Wars universe.

The adventure is peppered with multiple activities (including of course lightsabers) and you come across characters from the famous saga. There is of course something to eat and sleep.

The current prices are $5,000 for 2 nights for 2 people and $6,000 for 4 people.
Suffice to say that it is not for all budgets.

A journalist from The Verge was able to test part of the experience and if it recognizes that accommodation and food are not worth a palace at $3,000/night, Disney offers here a unique experience in the world and in which we are not satisfied to be a spectator.

If the subject interests you and you want to know more about the experience with lots of photos I encourage you to read the preview of The Verge.

When will the same for the Marvel universe ?

🔒Digiposte: the Post Office service that you will love to use

Here is an application that should appeal to those who want to manage their online paperwork or just staying organized.

For several years now, the post office has been offering an application called Digiposte which acts as an electronic safe. The idea? Securely store all your important documents: invoice, rent, taxes, etc.

Why is it good?

Already it is a service from a public actor which hosts your data in France which is always better than an American actor.

Then it is multiplatform: web, iPhone and Android so you always have your documents with you.

Finally and this is THE great strength of Digiposte, there are dozens of services that you can connect: banks, insurance, telephony, e-commerce, travel, mutual insurance, taxes...

And when I say connect, that means that once a service is connected to your account ALL documents are sent directly to your Digiposte safe.

Here is a short video presentation of the service:

Automation is the key to a service efficient storage. This is why Google Photo is so practical and this is also the strength of the postal service.

How much does it cost?

You must tell yourself that such a service cannot be free and that if it were the case you would have to be wary of it. Rest assured, there is a very clean business model:

• a free offer limited to 5GB and 5 organizations to connect
• A premium offer at €40/year with 100GB and you can connect all the organizations
• A pro offer at €10/month

For once we can say good things about the post office without any reservations, I am not going to sulk my pleasure…
