#94 - 🤯 ChatGPT: artificial intelligence that has (almost) the answer to everything

Hello,
I hope you are well.
This week is one of those moments where I am happy to have this newsletter to share with you my best discoveries and what makes me tick.
On the program I couldn't miss ChatGPT, a small revolution that will change what you thought about Artificial Intelligence.
Hang on tight, you'll be surprised....
🤯 ChatGPT: artificial intelligence which has (almost) the answer to everything
It's THE big tech hit of the week and I had to tell you about it!
There a few days ago, OpenAI the structure to which we already owe Dall-E released its latest nugget and the least we can say is that the announcement caused a lot of noise.
ChatGPT (that's its nickname) takes the form of a chatbot to which you can ask almost anything.
You're going to tell me that this is the way we have used Google for decades but you would be terribly missing the point. plaque.
Because unlike Google, ChatGPT does not show you a list of links that may contain the answer... this artificial intelligence creates the answer live before our eyes. And where it’s crazy is that the result is super relevant!
An example here on the query “How to write an exciting newsletter? ».

I'll let you judge for yourself.
And if you're not convinced by the result, just click on "try again" to be offered a variation. It's as simple as that.
I've been playing with ChatGPT for several days and I remain amazed by the power and relevance of this tool.
I asked him, among other things, to write:
- A press release
- An article on a small provincial town
- A thank you letter
- A children's story
And each time I have been amazed.
But that’s not the craziest thing ChatGPT has done. Some have even managed to develop websites, solve mathematical problems, offer me cooking recipes thanks to a few well-informed requests.
This site was built in less than 10 minutes using a few ChatGPT prompts and Replit.

I think we are facing a disruptive innovation which will mark a shift by showing us that AI can produce truly relevant results for very varied use cases.
Don't waste any more time reading a human and go ahead and test this AI (you have to create a free account).
✈️ The end of airplane mode
Since we have had cell phones we know that we have to disconnect when we are in the air.
There are also decades since we saw the appearance of airplane mode which cuts off cellular and Bluetooth networks.
And even if there is always an urban legend about the risks of not putting your device in airplane mode, it is clear that there is something relaxing in this forced disconnection….
Well, that was before because now in addition to the kid screaming from the back row you will now be able to benefit from the telephone discussions of your neighbor on the plane.
Indeed the European Commission has just announced that it will now authorize in-flight calls thanks to a new 5G frequency offered by a device which will be located on the plane.
Good news though, this functionality will only be available at low altitude and on European flights. We do not yet know if the service will be offered with or without additional cost, which could also limit its use.
Personally, I would have done without it, and you?
🎂 30 years of SMS

This year marks 30 years since the arrival of SMS on mobile phones. This telecommunications service has revolutionized the way people communicate, allowing them to send text messages from their mobile phones.
Since its launch in 1992 by the Finnish mobile phone company Radiolinja, SMS has been adopted by many other mobile operators around the world, quickly becoming a popular way of communicating for many people.
Despite the advent of smartphones and instant messaging apps, SMS remains a popular way to communicate. popular communication for many users. By celebrating 30 years of SMS, we can remember the impact this service has had on our daily lives and how it has changed the way we communicate.
This last article was entirely generated by an AI from the request “write a paragraph on 30 years of SMS” (even the illustration).
And that's all for this week! See you next week!
