#98 - 🧪How did I start a YouTube channel using AI?

Hello
3 topics this week, to inspire you, make you think and discover new things:
- ☠️Why Twitter killed a 15-year-old application ecosystem in 1 week
- 🧪How did I launch a YouTube channel using AI?
- 📍The future of navigation indoor of 15-year-old applications
- That the videos are in English
- That I don't read any of these books
A few years ago I heard a very apt expression: “never build your business in someone else’s garden”. This is the painful lesson to be learned from what happened last week to many third-party clients and applications based on Twitter.
But in fact what is a Twitter client?
It is an application that allows you to use all or part of the functionalities of the social network by offering services or an interface different.
There have been Twitter clients almost since Twitter existed because the platform has always been quite open in terms of its APIs, willingly letting certain companies offer alternatives to official applications.
Among the Twitter clients and the best known we can mention tweeterrific or Tweetbot which I used for a long time on iOS. Besides, for the record, the official Twitter application comes from an old third-party application. Even stronger, we owe key elements of the Twitter experience to third-party applications: it is thus Twitterrific which was the first to use a bird as an iconand which used the term "tweet" to describe an update of status.
This shows the importance that third-party applications have had in the development of Twitter.
Only last week without any explanation all these third-party applications suddenly stopped working. All without any communication from Twitter or Elon Musk (yet never stingy with words). Observers felt the blow coming and the coincidence a little too great until the official announcement 5 days later that these applications violated the rules of use of APIs.
Who is at-fault in this story?
It's been a few years since I used a third-party client because they could take a little time to integrate certain new features but that's not what really bothered Twitter. The main problem is that these third-party applications did not display the ads. A huge advantage for users but a considerable loss of revenue for the platform (third-party apps were often used by power users). A loss of income which was no longer at all to Elon Musk's taste obviously.
On the other hand we can note that Twitter was particularly cowardly in the management of this file.
On the one hand by cutting off access without prior announcement.
But above all by making people believe that the rules which had been broken dated back several months when they were in fact discreetly modified on January 19 on the agreement which binds the developers to the platform.
It's really messy methods but can Twitter still do something that surprises us?
🧪How I launched a YouTube channel thanks to an AI?
At the end of 2022 I wanted to see how far we could push the vice with ChatGPT. What if it was possible to automate the creation of videos from A to Z thanks to this AI?
I had the idea of creating a channel that would offer summaries of the most popular books on Amazon with 2 challenges:
The result is quite crazy and I'm sharing the video with you below:
