Arc the internet browser that wants to revolutionize our web experience - s03e07

Greg Taieb · · 2 min read

The experience we have visiting sites on the Internet has changed very little since the beginning. Tabs have appeared, extensions, synchronization between devices, ad blocking... Many features that make our lives easier but without compromising Internet browsing: the browser remains a window to the sites.

What The Browser Company offers us, with its Arc browser, is precisely to rethink the how we interact with these sites. The idea is to offer a better experience, by reducing noise and bringing more concentration to the user.

Through its organization and processes, it helps us improve our digital lives.

For example, you may have many tabs open on your current browser, some of which have been for weeks (or even months!). On Arc, if you don't save them, it automatically closes them after 12 hours. So of course, you can easily find them in your history, but if they weren't that important, you wouldn't miss them!

In this episode, we also talk about other Arc features like the side bar, workspaces, split view or even Boosts.
