How AI allowed me to create Hiku, a psychometric test preparation app

Many think that AI in education is just a great way to keep students from having to think.

It's one side of the coin.

The other side, the one I see, is much more stimulating. Much more inventive.

The starting point: a real need

My daughter is preparing for a competition with psychometric tests.

Problem: there are very few online resources for training. A few records, but not enough to build real progress over time.

What we did

My daughter did all the records available, one by one. We analyzed each error. Not just "wrong", but why wrong, what type of reasoning was missing, where the real weakness was.

We built subject by subject a personalized progression plan, calibrated on its shortcomings.

In a few days: +30 to 50% on the scores depending on the subject.

No tool on the market offered that for this specific need... And yet I was ready to take out the credit card.

This is how Hiku was born

In a few days:

  • More than 1,000 questions created
  • An AI assistant which explains each error and trains on the weak points
  • And 3 first paying customers!

The desire behind: making it accessible to all those who have a learning need that standard tools do not cover.

If you are preparing psychometric tests or know someone who is, you can test the application now.
