Everyday Heroes: an app for good first aid reflexes
Greg Taieb · · 1 min read
I'm going to tell you about my life but last week I took part in a first aid course to remind me of useful actions. And I was presented with an application that I had to tell you about before the summer.
These are "Everyday Heroes" (available on Android and iOS) which raises awareness through scenarios and quizzes.
Some examples of cases to manage:
- Act in the face of a sunburn
- Act in the face of a hemorrhage in a park
- Act in the face of a jellyfish sting (and contrary to popular belief, urinating on the wound is not recommended😅).
You have around thirty scenarios classified by theme (domestic accidents, at the office, winter, cardiac arrests, etc.). It's hyperdidactic and gives very good advice. You can revise alone or with your children (mine loved it).
I was certainly going this far but I learned a ton of useful information using this application in the last few days.
In short, a must have to learn or review good reflexes before summer.
I hope you don't have to thank me for this but you really can save lives.
